- 3D Printed chocolate:Silicon different shapes of molds have been used for decades in the chocolate industry and are still used these days. After the invention of the first 3D printing machine in the eighties of the last decade, the field of its application has rapidly increased and reached chocolate industry in England, 2011. Later, chocolate industry market leaders, like Cadbury, started to manufacture new complex creative shapes. Many companies followed and produced average price and very expenses 3D-printed chocolate pieces. The time needed to print a chocolate depends on the size and the shape in addition to the accuracy requested. The liquid chocolate is prepared and put in a specific place in the printer. There might be different places, each for one type or ingredient that are planned to make the shape, such as milk, butter, dark chocolate, etc. The printer is linked to an electric device where the design, dimensions, and the technique of adding the ingredients is programmed. The chocolate is eatable immediately after the shape is printed.
