It’s Not as Difficult as You Think to Wrap a Weird Piece of Chocolate

From the early beginnings of chocolate industry, the main companies, such as Cadbury, Hershey, and Nestle used to produce rectangular chocolate bars.  Nowadays some chocolate brands, including the famous ones, are producing chocolate bars with strange different shapes to make a change.  In the market, you might find coin-shaped chocolate, a chocolate ball, different unusual shapes, or even very complicated 3D printed chocolate shapes.

Wrapping these “weird” shapes might look very difficult but here are some techniques and ways used to wrap this type of chocolate.

• There are machines specialized in wrapping coin chocolate and spherical shape chocolate.
• Soft foil wrappers make it easier to wrap any shape without damaging it.
• Gentle wrapping then using a ribbon or a thread tape is also a very common practical and attractive way.
• Putting the piece of chocolate in a cartoon package instead of a soft wrapper, especially when it’s easily damaged.
• Fixing the chocolate pieces in a candy box, after designing the inner side of the box accordingly.
